OHIO CAT & OHIO PETERBILT HEADQUARTERS
In 2012 CAT made a 6,500 square foot expansion to its corporate Technical Training Department. It also included conference facilities, office space and new, customer-friendly Machine Sales Department. Since then they proceeded to make improvements to an existing office building which opened in 1971 and added a separate HQ for Peterbilt trucks.
Our assignment was to photograph the new Peterbilt HQ, but the location was a bit confusing with the address leading to the Ohio CAT HQ. Once inside I was happened to decide it really looked nice in here, and the products looked the same, so I asked and was granted permission to expand our project into both locations.
Some of the photos are "Pano-stitched" together, which is a process that enables me to gain a wider angle of view than the lens allows. We shoot our corporate office architectural photos to post-produce and photo-finish in Lightroom and Photoshop, but the prior planning is important.
